*This option only applies if MFA is enabled on your affiliated mailbox; if you don't have MFA enabled, you won't see it as an option *
- Sign into https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ with your affiliated email’s username and password
- Click “Security info” on the left side of the screen
- Click “Add sign-in method”
- Select “App password” from the drop-down menu
- Set name for the new credential (it must be a minimum of 8 characters, using only letters and/or numbers (no special characters))
- Copy the password to your clipboard or write it down somewhere secure, then click Done
