How & Why to make a secure note in LastPass

While having secured passwords in Lastpass is great, sometimes there's other information you'd like secured and shareable between other LastPass users.  One such item are secure notes.  These are especially useful when you need save contact information (email address, phone numbers, etc), security profile information (pass phrases, security questions and their answers, etc.), or simple instructions (like how to change voicemail options for the office phone system).

1. Open your LastPass vault and select Notes from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen
2. In the bottom right of your LastPass vault, click red plus sign button for "Add Item" - a blank secure note will pop up in front of you
3. Fill in the Name for your note
4. Select a folder location where it will be saved
5. Type or copy/paste the information you want in your note onto the canvas area to your right
6. Click Save when you’ve completed your note
